An eclectic acoustic band featuring World, Early, and American Music. Our repertoire of world music includes Brazilian, Jamaican, Middle Eastern, Sephardic, Afro-Brazilian and others; our Early music includes Medieval and Renaissance, and our American repertoire includes Appalachian, blues, spirituals, and traditional folk.We play a variety of instruments - including hammered dulcimer, flute, recorders of many sizes, crumhorn(!), standup bass, mountain dulcimers, guitar, percussion - and of course vocals. We also feature a number of occasional and/or novelty instruments (like a rainstick!).If the venue is right, we include singalongs, drumalongs, and shakealongs (we supply the shakers).Band members are Patty Simon, Barry Simon, Heidi Woofenden, and Polly Jacobson, with occasional guests joining us.
